Summerlin Farm and Poultry
We added chickens to our small hobby farm in Spring of 2025. Our hens are organic fed, get free range time daily, and are supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables. Once we experienced the difference between our fresh eggs with rich golden yolks vs store bought eggs, we will never go back! Our layer hens provide us with healthy-to-eat, beautiful-to-look-at cartons of colorful eggs! Eggs by the dozen are available for local pick up. We also occasionally have chicks and started pullets available.

In Fall of 2025 I stumbled upon the Dutch Owlbeard breed of chicken and knew that I must have one! After much research and searching this extremely rare and old breed, I acquired my first Lemon Owlbeard chicks in Spring of 2026 and fell in love. We have since added a couple of Gold Owlbeard pullets and have an incubator full of Owlbeard eggs in hopes to add more quality birds and *hopefully* some Silver Owlbeards too! A huge thank you to Poultry Paradise and Feather Minion farms for your trust and for sharing your lines and hard work with me!
